The Hush Puppy Project Model 2 Silencer is a compact 9mm wipe-style suppressor designed for lightweight, direct-thread attachment to compatible firearms with 1/2x28 muzzle threads. Constructed with a hard anodized aerospace-grade aluminum body and a stainless steel threaded insert, the Model 2 weighs approximately 3 ounces, making it light enough to be used without a booster (Nielsen device). Its wipe-based design is intended for use with subsonic ammunition and includes a replaceable wipe system to help maintain sound suppression over time.
The suppressor ships with both a primary suppressor module and an auxiliary wipe module containing 12 replacement urethane wipes, along with a protective storage pouch. The Model 2 is compatible with a variety of subsonic 9mm loads, including select Super Vel® Hush Puppy® ammunition. Periodic wipe replacement is required as part of normal maintenance, and the suppressor is designed to allow the replacement module to be returned to the manufacturer for repacking when needed.
